In Key Stage 3 pupils also have an opportunity to study French and Spanish. During this time, pupils develop key linguistic skills through a broad range of learning experiences using a variety of resources.

They become familiar with the sounds, written form and grammar of the language and use this knowledge to express themselves with increasing confidence and competence. Pupils are regularly entered and have been successful in CEA exams.
